Pumpkin Patch

We went last Saturday to the local pumpkin patch. We dressed the kids up in their costumes and took advantage of the beautiful day and good photo op : )

Ladybug Lia and Monkey Sage

And Colt the Dragon too

Sitting on the pumpkins with Daddy

It was really bright and a little hot outside

Lia cried just about the whole time we were there

She was definitely not a happy camper here!

Maybe our only photo where she isn't too upset

It's a rough life : )

Here are a few pictures of Lia sleeping on the back porch and taking a stroll around the neighborhood. The weather has been cooling off here and she has really been enjoying being outside!
Asleep in the swing

Swinging on the back porch

All bundled up for the "chilly" weather

Our trip home - meeting all the Cato family

The highlight of our trip home was obviously getting to spend time with all of our family on Philip's side, many of whom were meeting Lia for the first time. We had a great visit and are really looking forward to our next trip back home!

Hanging out with my cousins, Evan and Campbell. They were so nice to me, and I miss them already!

Playing with Nana. We always have such a fun time together!

Meeting Mark, Tracey, Emma and Sarah was great!

Getting a bottle from Papa. He rocked me in his big chair, and I loved it!

Meeting my great grandparents, MawMaw and PawPaw Thomas

Meeting my other great grandparents, Papa Cato and Katie

Spending time with my great grandmother Mama Cato, my Aunt Heather, and my cousin Campbell

Our trip home - meeting new friends and spending time with old friends

We recently took a trip back home to GA, and Lia had a great time meeting some new people and visiting with some of the people she already knows. On Saturday, we went to Aunt Ginny's house for lunch and watched the football game. Then we headed over to Aunt Rachel's to meet up with some of our good friends from home.

Meeting BK for the first time. She was smiling at him from the minute he walked in the room. She wasn't quite as happy when he picked her up : )

Getting a bottle from Aunt Rachel. As always, it was so great for us to get the chance to spend some time with her!!

Meeting Jarin and Lauren for the first time. I'm not sure if being around her made them more or less ready for one of their own, haha!

Hanging out with Aunt Erin and Aunt Rachel

Always happy in Aunt Ginny's arms!! Thanks again for everything AG. It was wonderful to get to see you and I loved getting to hang out and catch up!

Finally back up and running...

We got the laptop back finally! So I will be working to update the blog today.

Broken Laptop

I just wanted to apologize for the lapse in posting recently. Our laptop, which has all my photos, is broken so I haven't been able to put any news photos on the blog. We recently took a trip home to visit Philip's family and we got some great pictures with cousins, nana and papa, great grandparents, and aunts and uncles. As soon as I get the laptop up and running again I will share those great pics!

Playgroup/Luncheon at Keri's

Colt, Leighton, Sage and Lia

Keri was sweet to host a luncheon/playdate at her house on Wednesday. She was so nice to include me and Lia along with Jessica and Colt, Amanda and Leighton, and a few of the girls from her Bible study group and their kids. It was so much fun. The older kids played while the younger ones slept or sat with mom, and we all had a great time visiting together. I met some really nice people, and I really appreciate Keri inviting us!

Lia put on a new dress for the occasion!

Sitting on the couch with Sage. He kept sliding over until he was leaning on her - it was so funny!

Auburn cheerleader

On Saturday, I got dressed in my cheerleader outfit and helped Mama cheer on the Tigers as they played Tennessee (sorry Daddy!)

Miller had to come check on me every now and then.

First trip home...

Last week, Mama and I flew to Birmingham and went to Lake Martin to my grandparents house for the week. It was a trip filled with firsts! It was my first plane ride. Mama was so nervous about traveling with me all by herself. All went smoothly though and I slept the whole flight and the whole drive to the lake! Here are photos of all the wonderful firsts I got have while we were there:

First time to hang out with cool Aunt Erin

First time to meet Aunt Elaine and Uncle Howard. I loved them right away!

First time to put on a life jacket and take a boat ride. Thanks to Aunt Elaine and Uncle Howard for both of those firsts. I was right at home on the boat! I love the lake!!

First time to visit Grandaddy's farm. His new house is looking great!

First time to meet Aunt Cameran and Braden. We got to see their new house in Opelika!

First time to meet my great grandparents, Joe and Tina. We had a good time visiting at their house in Auburn.

First trip to Auburn. We ate lunch at Mellow Mushroom, then went shopping at J&M, then Uncle Cliff and Mama took me for a walk on campus and I got my picture taken in front of the Auburn sign. It was such a fun day and I loved dressing up in all my Auburn clothes!

First time to meet my godmother, Aunt Ginny. She's the best! She rocked me to sleep on the screened porch (one of many naps out on the porch) and gave me a bottle.

First bottle from Uncle Cliff. I really missed him and was so glad to get to spend some time with him again. He was so nice to me and even helped Mama give me a bath and then he gave me a bottle before bed. I love my Uncle Cliff!!
