More Vail pics...

My brother's girlfriend, Suzanna, was so sweet to take a bunch of photos for us in Vail (she's in photography school with Cliff, so her pictures are SO much better than any that I take with our little camera!) She got some great ones of Lia (Uncle Cliff brought her lots of goodies including a giant stuffed frog that Lia loved to ride and pet) as well as some good pics of the house we stayed in and the slopes. Here are some of the best:

Hanging out with my buddy Sage

Keri and Ryan came over for dinner, so Lia and Sage had a little time to hang out before bath and bed time. We decided that Sage needed a bath too, so he hopped in the tub with Lia. They had a good time splashing in the water and playing with the bath toys : )

Happy Valentine's from Vail

For Valentine's/President's Day weekend, we went to Colorado with my parents and my brother and his girlfriend. Lia and I flew out to Vail Thursday morning with my parents, then Philip flew to Denver that evening and drove up to Vail with Cliff and Suzanna. We stayed at a beautiful house with a great view of the slopes. The guys skied while the ladies relaxed at home. Everyone had a great time! It was SO cold up there, and it snowed a lot during our stay. Here are some pics from the trip:

Lia LOVES Carlos the Crab - we don't leave home without him!

At La Bottega for Valentine's lunch - Philip took me and Lia out for a special meal : )

Lia started saying "DaDa" while we were there!! She doesn't know that Philip is Dada yet, but she likes to say it over and over - "Dadadadadadadada!"

She also likes to blow bubbles right in the middle of a big bite of her dinner, haha!

Rolling over - FINALLY!

Lia rolled over twice at only 6 weeks old, then never did it again! Well, today we were practicing the crawling position and she decided it was time to roll over again! Here is the video:

On the road again : )

On Friday, we flew to Atlanta to be with Philip's family for his brother Steve's wedding on Saturday. Despite a flight delay and some major traffic in Atlanta (which resulted in a midnight bedtime for Lia) we made it safely to Philip's parents house on Friday night. On Saturday, we all went to Marrietta for Steve and Natasha's wedding ceremony, then had a luncheon at Schillings in the square with both families. It was a wonderful celebration, and we were so lucky to get to be there for the event! Natasha looked beautiful and Steve had a huge smile on his face all day long!! It was obvious how happy they both were. Lia got to spend time with her aunts and uncles and cousins, which was fun for everybody. That evening, the rest of Philip's family came over for dinner. We had a great time visiting with everyone and stayed up too late visiting with Philip's parents after the rest of the group headed home. Lia was an absolute trooper, and I couldn't be more proud of her! She was a happy camper throughout the trip and never cried even at her most exhausted moments. Here are some pics from the trip:
